EPPN RIG MEETING AT SPPAC

On April 4th, we had an online regional interest group (RIG) meeting at the Society for Pediatric Psychology Annual Conference (SPPAC). The slides of this meeting can be accessed here: EPPN vSPPAC meeting slides-2022.

GOOGLE GROUP

We have now set up a EPPN Google group, a place where you can connect with other EPPN members. The EPPN Google groups provides a forum to update members regarding EPPN activities and paediatric psychology issues, to discuss topics relevant to the field, and to exchange relevant information (e.g., job openings, patient referrals, professional advice). We hope you will find this useful.

The Google Groups works like a normal listserv: to send a message to the whole group you simply email eppn@googlegroups.com and all EPPN members will see your message in their inbox and everyone will be able to reply to your message as if replying to an email. Learn more.

Becoming an EPPN member

If you are a professional working in paediatric psychology and based in Europe, live outside Europe but are interested in collaborations with those of us working in Europe, already have connections in Europe, or if you would simply like to support us, we would welcome you to the EPPN!

All who become members of EPPN, will also have joined the Society of Pediatric Psychology (SPP), if they were not already a member. We are very grateful to SPP for hosting EPPN as the first Regional Interest Group of SPP and for their support as we take our founding steps. SPP will have sent their own welcome email and has many professional offerings (see SPP website). SPP offerings will be available to EPPN members too, in addition to the EPPN-specific membership benefits. All this makes the SPP membership fee tremendous value for money and provides a superb supportive infrastructure to assist the development of the EPPN. Those wishing to join EPPN will do so through joining SPP.

A brief how-to

  • First go to the Membership section of the SPP (see link) then follow through to achieve SPP membership.
  • You will then have the option to join EPPN along the way! Simply use the drop down box on the right and select “Join a SIG/RIG/Affinity Group” and choose “EPPN” from the list which comes up. (Existing SPP members can simply log in and go to the Member Portal (Member Portal) and find the same dropbox on the right.)

Please do contact EPPN via our email address if you have any questions: info@europedpsych.com (and add this to your contacts, to avoid any future emails going into your Spam/Junk Filter).
