BRIEF BIO
Sari Ahlqvist-Björkroth, Doctor of Psychology, is currently a postdoctoral researcher within the department of Clinical Medicine at the University of Turku, Finland. Her postdoctoral position is funded by the Academy of Finland. She has also completed academic clinical specialization program in psychotherapy. Her research interests include the influence of the environmental and the psychosocial factors on the parent-infant relationship and attachment during pregnancy, perinatal period and in early childhood. She is one of the developers of an educational intervention “Close Collaboration with Parents” that is targeted to neonatal health care teams. Her postdoctoral studies are focusing on the implementation processes and the effect mechanisms of the intervention.
